It's been a while...

We have been SO busy lately! Bryson has been frequenting the library until midnight studying for tests and working on group projects. I have been working nonstop as usual. Needless to say, a break for Thanksgiving and then for Christmas is well needed and will be well appreciated!! :-)

At school, things are busy...but fun. Today, we were making a class graph of their favorite pies for our pie feast on Tuesday (for Thanksgiving). I listed 3 types of pies on the board (I think chocolate cream, apple and pumpkin) and then they got to choose 2 more kinds to vote on (I think they chose banana cream and cherry). They each got 2 pieces of paper with pies drawn on them and they wrote the 2 flavors they liked the best and then added their pie paper to the graph to make a "pictograph." Anyway, one little girl raised her hand with the most concerned look on her face. I asked, "Yes, B?" She responds slowly, "Well....see....I'm not a pie fan." I looked at her "oh-so-serious" expression, but honestly couldn't hold in my laughter. I laughed and just said, "Oh B, you are so cute." Obviously someone had taught her the phrase "I'm not a pie fan" because that is SO not 2nd grade vocabulary.

Also, if you decide you need a reassuring job, become a 2nd grade teacher. Kids in 2nd grade LOVE, and I mean LOVE to tell you how awesome and great you are as their teacher. Today, I was teaching them "words that compare" which is just adding -er and -est to words (big, bigger, biggest). When it was their turn to come up with and illustrate their own word to add -ed and -est, most kids did words like small, smaller, smallest; tall, taller, tallest; or cool, cooler, coolest. One kid raised his hand and said, "I'm going to do Best, Bester, Bestest and draw a picture of Mrs. Webster for bestest because she's the bestest teacher I've ever had." Now honestly, how can you possibly correct such a sweet mistake? haha. I said, "What about, pretty, prettier, prettiest instead?" haha, and I'm kidding, OF COURSE!! :-)

And most importantly of all..........I am so in love with my husband! Maybe someday, we will see each other more than one hour a day, but for now I will love him from afar! :-) And if you are listening, come home from the library, honey bunch!

Not Scary...

So tonight, Bryson and I went to see the Japanese version of "The Ring" that the BYU international cinema was playing on campus. This was supposed to be the legitimatly SCARY version...everyone said it was "way scarier than the American version."

Ha. No

But at least it was free! :-)

But still...I will admit, when we got home, Bryson had his "fun" trying to scare the pants off me -- jumping out at me from behind corners and opening doors and screaming in my face. It worked and I screamed and jumped every single time. Then, he turned the lights off in the bathroom and shut me in and I pictured some killer "Ring" girl with her long, black hair over her face hiding behind the shower curtain and her creepy hands without fingernails reaching out to grab me and I yelled, "Please, please! Let me out!"

He just laughed.

I will get him back! haha

Love, B

To: Mrs Webster
You are the best teacher ever you are funny and nice. have fun!
Love, B

and just for laughs...

This cartoon is so accurate for ME as a brand new teacher - I swear I am always running to someone - "uhh, what should I do about this?" haha Nothing like "on the job training!" :-) We just finished learning time in my class and about 7 of the kids have digital watches. So, during the day I would sometimes ask, "What time is it right now?" Of course, those kids look at their wrists and exclaim "1:15!" The sad thing is...I carry around my cell phone ALL DAY and use that as my clock instead of looking at the clock on the wall.

Deep thoughts by 2nd graders

The other day, I got a paper cut while I was reading my kids a book. Later, at recess, one of my girls comes up to me and says,
"Paper cuts are one of those things that when you have one, everyone says, 'Oh, get over it, it's so small and probably doesnt hurt. But...then they get one and they say, 'Oh! That's what all the fuss is all about!' They hurt and I don't like them...not at all."

The Best Five Months

5 months ago today...
I woke up at 5:30 to start getting ready.
I was praying that the weather report was WRONG, wrong, wrong.
I was driving up to the temple hand in hand with my love.
I was sealed to my love...with almost all my family either inside or outside waiting. :-)
I went from having a fiance to having a husband.
I was no longer an "I," but now a "we."
The weather report WAS wrong and we had nothing but sunshine, instead of snow.
We took pictures in front of the tulips as husband and wife.
We danced the night away with anyone and everyone we love!
We drove off, as Mr. and Mrs. Webster
ANnnd we woke up the next morning to SNOW snow and more snow.
But, we escaped and flew to Hawaii! :-)
And now...here we are.
We were SO lucky to spend our first days as a married couple in Hawaii for our honeymoon.
We went to our first "Camel Back" family reunion together.
We took our first across-country road trip together.
We lived in Virginia with Granny and Papa,
and survived working at Busch Gardens in the sweltering heat (it really wasn't that bad :-).
Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, Virginia (and all the states in between), Nebraska, back to Colorado and now in Utah.
Each day, every minute has been the best of my life
All because I no longer do it as "me"
but as "we . . ."
Together with MY love! :-)

Feel better soon

I am feeling horrible. So sick. My dad said, "I wish I was there to make you some chicken noodle soup to help you feel better." Mm that sounds great!

A cute story from 2nd grade:
My dad and brother came in on Monday to see my class and my brother played the guitar. My kids were excited to meet my brother because I told them that he was 8 years younger than me, but already taller with bigger feet...AND he plays the guitar and wants to be a rockstar when he grows up haha. So, he, VERY KINDLY, brought his guitar and truly was a rockstar for about 20 minutes while he played a few songs and taught the kids the words to some songs. They LOVED it. I told them later, "My brother had a cold, so he was nervous to play because he thought you wouldn't like his scratchy voice." They all said, "No! no no! He was awesome!" If my kids finish their work early, they are allowed to do a few things, one of them being writing a thank-you letter to the principle, another teacher, etc. After my brother left, about 7 of them came up to me and asked, "Can you write 'Mr. Jayson' on the board so I can write a thank-you note to him." So sweet. Here is what some of them said:
Dear Mr. Jayson,
Thank you for comin. I liked your singing. You are awesome. You are awesome at the guitar.
From,
R
Dear Mr. Jayson,
Thank you thank you so so much for coming and playing the guitar. You were asome.
From,
B
(over)
P.S. I think you are the best playor in the wourld!
Dear Mr. Jayson,
You are good at guitar duide. You rock! I hope you get better.
From,
M
And my favorite: (And I'll have to translate)
Dear Mr. Jayson
You did so good with guitar. Even if you have a cof in your nack.
Love,
A
Translation: Even if you have a cough in your neck.
CUUuuute! :-)

I LOVE fall!

I always forget this until it comes again every year at this time - I LOVE FALL! I love the way the air smells, crisp and cold. I love the hussle and bussle, I love all the candy that lines the aisles of every store. I love bundling up in jackets and scarves, I love the way it feels when you step inside, red nosed from the cold. I love the colors - the bright blue sky next to the deep red and orange leaves on the changing trees. I really just love everything about fall! Now that I am teaching, I find myself loving it even more! I love the holidays that come with fall - Halloween, then Thanksgiving! At school, I love that everything I do can be Halloween themed - we can write spooky poems, we can find scary descriptive words, we can make spiders and ghosts to decorate the classroom. I am so excited for the many fun things we get to do in 2nd grade throughout the coming months!

Today was our 2nd grade field trip to the "Red Barn." The only, and I mean ONLY, things I knew about the Red Barn before today were that, #1 they sell good ice cream in the gift shop, and #2 we were going on a field trip there. So, at 9:30 this morning, tractor pulled wagons, lined with bales of hay as seats, pulled up to our school. One wagon per class - four in all. The kids were SO excited, all bundled up in layers and layers of warm clothes (which took A LOT of discussion and reminders to convince them that they will FREEZE if they don't wear at LEAST 3 layers). Even still, ALL my kids were saying, and I quote, "I'm the most freezing I've ever been!" haha. The tractors pulled us all the way (about 1 mile) to the Red Barn apple orchard where we learned all about apple trees and they let us each pick one apple of our own! :) They showed us how they pick cherries by shaking them with a machine. The kids were laughing and laughing watching that big tree shake like a leaf as all the cherries fell to the ground. Then, they drove us to the pumpkin patch where each teacher got to choose one pumpkin for the class. My class, and I gave in, chose the BIGGEST pumpkin - SO big, I couldn't even carry it - the apple orchard man had to carry it for me, which was very nice. The kids thought it was the best thing ever that we got the biggest pumpkin of all the classes. The entire rest of the day, I heard "Mrs. Webster, we have the biggest pumpkin in all of 2nd grade!" After the pumpkin patch, they drove us to the Red Barn gift shop where they gave everyone an apple cider doughnut with sprinkles. We took pictures, ate and sat in the sun to warm up. I can't speak for the kids (I think they LOVED IT), but I thought it was awesome! It was the perfect thing to do on a perfect fall day!

Today, I have to say, was a great day. It was a day that made me say, "Okay, I can do this," which is huge. HUGE. :-)

I wish I had pictures, but they are on someone's else's camera!

ONE more day until my family comes!!!!!!! SOOOO excited!!

Teaching Primary

Today was our first Sunday to teach the CTR6 kids in Primary. It was precious, and....EASY. :-) Going from 25 2nd graders to 4...FOUR...1st graders is a piece of cake! They are so sweet and tiny. Bryson was so cute, laughing and "aww-ing" the whole 2 hours haha. He even admitted that he got a little teary-eyed when they sang "He Sent His Son" duing closing exercises. The best part is, I get to be with Bryson the entire time during church! :-)

Saturday, September 26

Just waiting...

For my husband to get home.

Until then, I'll just sit here on the couch, like a loser and play with my webcam haha.

Friday, September 25

A Little Piece of Heaven Here On Earth!

I was craving Muddy Buddies all morning, so I went to the grocery store and picked up the ingredients without telling Bryson. When I got home, he said (without seeing what I had bought) "We should make Muddy Buddies, I've been craving them all week." Were we meant to be, or what? haha
Delish! :-)

Brighten My Day

I can't even believe how blessed I am to have family who loves me and cares about me. I do not deserve any of this! Thank you SO much Auntie!! :-)

Monday, September 21

Today was the first day
in probably 10 years
that I was IN BED before 10:30.
What does this tell you
about hanging out with 2nd graders
all day? :-)

Whew, to have the energy of a 7 year old again.

The end.

Happy Birthday Karley and Becky!

Today I told my class that it was my step-mom's AND my cousin's (Miss Karley, as they call her), birthday. They thought it was a miracle that BOTH of those birthdays occured on the same day. One of my little girls made Becky a birthday card and I sent it around the room and had everyone sign it (be on the look-out Becky haha). Remember how BIG OF A DEAL birthdays were when you were 8? Yesss they LOVE birthdays! Anyway, Happy Birthday to Becky! From the time I first met Becky, something I always thought was so neat, was that she is a great present giver. haha, I KNOW that is a random thing for me to think...but she always gives the absolute PERFECT presents to everyone for birthdays or Christmas...she really takes the time to think what each person would want and she finds the perfect gifts. She is an animal lover - she takes care of 6 animals (including 2 horses, which is a lot of work) and she loves old movies. So today Becky, I hope you get to take a long bubble bath, curl up and enjoy a great movie and I hope that my dad feeds the horses for you all day, so you get to relax! Happy Birthday!! :-) :-)
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARLEY!
Karley Kay is one of my best friends in the world. Karley is someone you can ALWAYS count on ... if you need a friend, she's there. She's will always make you laugh, knows just how to cheer you up, is a great listener, and truly CARES about people. Kar is a genuine person who really loves everyone - and everyone LOVES her! She came to read a story to my 2nd graders the other week. They loved her and thought she was, and I quote, "the funniest girl reader in the world." Since my kids know "Miss Karley," I had them write her birthday letters today and I put them all together and made a birthday book from "our 2nd grade class." They were so excited and decorated their pages with cute blonde stick figures labeled "Miss Karley," pink pigs and pizza slices (since that is what she told the class that she likes haha). They were so excited to give her their letters. So...happy birthday KAR KAR!!! Suuuure love ya!

And on a side note...I get to sleep in half an hour tomorrow morning. :)

Kids say the dardest things...

I know I have told this story to some people already, but for some reason it is the funniest story to me. So, this morning at school, we had a "Room Mom Tea" which is basicially where we meet with our room moms and eat breakfast together. Well, my room mom brought her son (who is obviously in my class) and she said, "Well, I probably shouldn't tell you this, because it might really embarass you....but..." And I'm thinking, "Oh great, I must have had major pit stains, a big wedgie or some big zit on my face one day and my kids ran home and told their parents, and now she's going to let me in on the secret." Well, she continues, "but...I'm going to tell you anyway."

"My son came home after the first day of school and his brothers ask him, 'How is your new teacher?' He says, 'Really nice, and she's really cute too.'"

OK, keep in mind, this kid in my class is 7!!!

She continues, "His brothers ask him, 'Oh yeah, what does she look like?' and he answers, 'Just like Megan Fox.'"

hahaha. The cutest thing about it is that his favorite movie is Transformers, so in his mind, all girls that have long brown hair look like the girl from Transformers. How cute. I told my room mom, "Oh, if only that were true, my husband would be one happy man!" :-)

Oh, to see the world through the eyes of a child. :-)

So Excited!

I am so excited to hear that my dad and brother are coming out for conference in October!! That means, Nam, Nampa, Jayson, my dad, and my cousin, Stephanie will all be here for conference! Mostly, I am BEYOND excited that my dad will be coming - every time Nam and Nampa have come out to Utah for conference, he calls me and says, "Oh that is just such a wonderful experience, I wish I could be there." This year, I finally put my foot down and said, "He NEEDS to come out this year!" He has never been to conference in the Conference Center, so I told Nam that we need to bond together in getting him to come out in October! AND...he is!! I am so excited! This will be a great experience! And I love my family so much, I am so excited to see them all! Spending Conference weekend with Nam and Nampa is always one of the weekends I look the most forward to. It really rejuvinates me and just fills me up again! WHICH is something I REALLY, really, rEALLy need right now! So, I'm incredibly excited!

I would once again like to express how much I LOVE my husband! :-) And we've been married for 4 months as of yesterday! He is such a trooper for hanging on even this long!! LOVE YOU HONEY BUNCH!! Here's to the next 4 months (and the next 4 months, and the next, and the next, and the next!) :-)

Funny Picture of the Day

Bridal Veil Falls

Today, we took a little walk to Bridal Veil Falls. I have passed this driving up Provo Canyon probably 100 times, but have never taken the time to acutally stop and get out and walk around. It was beautiful, and sooo crowded. Everyone was having picnics in the park and riding their bikes on the bike path. What a great way to spend a Sunday. :-) We tried to hike up the falls a little bit, but didn't have the right shoes.

And in case you haven't noticed...as if anyone even cares haha...my hair looks orange in all these pictures. orange. yessss, I need to get my hair done So bad! Any hair stylist recommendations??

A Beautiful Day in Salt Lake City

Today, Bryson and I were able to go to one of his old mission companion's sealings in the Salt Lake temple. It was a great experience for both of us! Kaitlyn came with us to Salt Lake and while we were at the sealing, she picked up Jayson from the airport. It was a perfect day for a wedding and temple square looked gorgeous, as always.

Bryson and Jayson, OF COURSE, watched the BYU football game and everyone ... and by everyone, I mean EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING in Provo partied hard that night after BYU beat #3 Oklahoma 14 to 13. I haven't seen Bryson that happy, NO JOKE, in a long time haha. He was like a little kid in a candy shop, smile from ear to ear, jumping up and down...yeah. And, he was NOT alone. The streets of Provo were insane - people all in the middle of the streets jumping up and down, carn horns honking all night. It was a great night in Cougar Town, that's for sure! :-) What a great way to start the season! Go COUGS!
Well, we ended the night by going to Trafalga and playing a round of mini-golf. Jayson dominated us all haha. It was fun. :-)
And my husband is hot! :-)

Latin Festival

Last year at this time, Bryson had just gotten home from his mission. One night, we (Kaitlyn, Brad, Bryson and I) were all driving around, trying to find something fun to do...when we drove by the Latin Festival on Center Street in Provo. Of course, Bryson saw the word "Latin" and jumped out of the car. It ended up being a super fun night - full of great food (Pupusas especially :-), good music and great people! There was food from the many latin countries, salsa dancing, a live band, and store vendors from various countries. Well, we were excited to go back this year and re-live the experience. We were even more excited when we realized Kait and Jayson would be here this year. So, Friday night, Kait, Bryson and I went (Jayson wasn't here yet) to the Latin Festival for round numero dos. It was so fun, and we are planning on going back on Monday night with Jayson. The best part of the night ... mango on a stick! Kait and I loved it! Made me think of, and MISS, Hawaii though!!

A Day in December

I cry every single time I hear this song. Written by Jayson Schooff (My little baby brother) :-)

A day in December
The coldest day of my life
It’s true
That I knew
It would never be the same without you
A day in December
The cold winds blew
right on through with you
And now I’m here
With a tear
I can never wipe clear

All I remember is you
I’m running to your room
You kiss me on my head
As I jump into your bed
So here’s to you Mom
Cuz I miss you
And I wish you
Could tell me what I’m doing wrong
And what I’m doing right
To tell me if you’re proud of me
Or mad at me

But really, I just want to hear
That you love me
That you love me
That you love me
That you love me
That you love me
That you love me
That you love me

But I can’t
All because of that one single day
In December
I remember
The day
In December

**I hope I got the words right!! Jayson, if not, let me know! :-)

Family!!

I know I have posted about this many, many times before, BUT I just can't seem to say it enough...I LOVE MY FAMILY! Bryson, my mom my dad, Becky, Jayson, Kaitlyn, Lisa, Jeff, Bradley, Maddie, Blakey, Granny, Papa, Auntie, Uncle Kent, Kam, Karley, Tickie, Greg, Leah, Amy, Nam, Nampa, the Schooff family, the Bryson family, the Webster family. . . I couldn't ask for a better family! My sister, Kaitlyn has been in town the last week or so and just having her near (even though I'm sure she's been BORED out of her mind) makes me feel SO much better. There is nothing in the world like a sister. I learned this at an early age, watching my mom on a daily basis (at LEAST once a day) call her sisters and talk for hours. She would make it a priority to visit her sisters often, even if it meant driving for 3 days across the country with 3 small kids. I always just assumed that your sister was supposed to be your besst friend - that's just how it was. Kaitlyn and I have been best friends from the day she was born. Her sweet toast at my wedding says it perfectly:

"Ever since the day I was born, Ashley has been my best friend. We grew up together making forts in the living room, playing Barbies, and playing pretend, and I never knew that it was uncommon to have your sister as your best friend. We did, and we do, everything together from sharing our clothes and our makeup, to literally sleeping in the same bed."

When Kaitlyn was in 3rd grade - I THINK it was 3rd grade, she wrote me a note. Just recently, we found it and she read it to me over the webcam. I started laughing so hard that I literally cried - it was so sweet.

"ashley, thanx for the flowers. i love them. it's 1:30. we're doing reading. we have to read "soaring eagle." i saw you and mom writing notes to each other, so can we or i just wanted to write you a note. i love you so much. i love the note pad too. it's so cute. everydody is out for resses. (the playground) but i wanted to stay in to write you this note. it's 2:20 I round on time. i realy 2:18, but?) how was ridding the bus? i was fine. i sat with a girl named brandi (like the singer but not really) I played with her also for resses. i'm so nerves coming home on the bus. i have no place to sit. well, in the bus, do you have assigned seats. well we DO!! that's why i don't have any place to sit. (mad faces, means not fair or i dont like it that way.) well thanx any way. love ya so much. lylas (well we are sisters, so let's be best friends. deal?) (please tell me about your day and bus drive if you want.) GTG YRG ( you rule girl)"
your sister, kaitlyn schooff
ps you are cool"

As we've gotten older, people we have never met or seen before FREQUENTLY ask us, "Are your guys TWINS?" We look at them like, "Are you kidding?" Afterall, I have brown hair, she has blonde...I'm four years older - I think we look totally different. But, after being asked if we are twins at least once everytime we are out together, I'm starting to think maybe I'm just not seeing it. :-) This week, Kaitlyn has come down to my class three times, twice to read to my kids and once on Saturday to help me do teacher "busy work" - recording grades in the book, writing names on books, putting things in alphabetical order...all that stuff that no one really wants to do haha. She is amazing! The times she has come to read to my kids, they have literally been on the edge of their seats excited...wanting to ask her about a million questions. They all said today, "Miss Kaitlyn is so pretty and nice." And I, of course, said "I know! I'm so lucky to have such a great sister!" I am so sad, but at the same time ESTATIC for her, that she will be moving so far away, across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii for the fall. We were watching Little Women on Sunday and heard the quote, "Don't be silly! I could never love anyone more than I love my sister." So true! :-)

SO, today (and everyday), I am grateful that I was given Kaitlyn, my sister, my best friend. :-)

Sleep Talking

Probably every night since we have gotten married, I have woken up to Bryson talking. For the first little while, I would look around, confused, ask him, "Bryson, are you talking to me?" or "Bryson, who's there?" only to realize he is 100% talking in his sleep. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT haha.

I saw this video on YouTube and figured, at least he isn't getting up and running into walls in his sleep. At least...not YET. :-)

Sure Love Ya! :-)

So, not too much has been happening lately (okay a lot has happened - meaning my first 2 weeks of teaching 2nd grade)...but I'm not going to talk about that on this post.

I was SO happy and excited to recieve a few consecutive packages from my dad and Becky the other week. First, an awesome crockpot cookbook came (which we were SO excited about because we couldn't wait to come home from church, open our front door and smell DINNER almost ready!!) Next, the cutest sewing kit came! I'm pretty sure Becky was behind this because it was so cute and well put together - and it came at the perfect time becuase Bryson had just ripped a pair of his pants! It was full of scissors, thread, needles, safety pins - and came in the cutest little box! It was perfect! I need to have Nam teach me how to mend and hem and all that good stuff. I already used it to sew a tear in my dress sleeve...but it's a little makeshift haha. Oh well, I tried!! :-)

The NEXT package came...ANOTHER crockpot cookbook! So, guess what Bryson and I have been doing...?!? Cooking in the crockpot! It's amazing!! The next package to arrive came in a big box. My dad had kind of told me what to look out for in the mail, so when a big box smelling of cinnamon and spices came, I got so excited! My dad and Becky went out and bought us probably 30 spice bottles (which is amazing!!) and sent them in the mail. The even cooler thing is that it wasn't ONLY spices, it was also ingredients to help make some of he and Becky's favorite recipies from the cookbooks they sent us. Take a look at one shelf of our spice cabinet! :-) Thank you, thank you, thank you SO so So much Dad and Becky!! AND, it doesn't stop there...Kaitlyn just came out to visit on Tuesday and she arrived with a trunk full of groceries. Goldfish crackers, chips, rice-a-ronis, and everything to make our favorite dessert, Scotcheroos!!! I have an AMAZING family!!Since school started, I have felt like I am either at school or at home....so I am always saying "Can we just go SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE?" So, the other night, we went to Trafalga and played mini-golf. I totally DOMINATED Bryson...at least on the first 9 holes. The last 9 holes...well...that's a different story and, long story short, Bryson won. But only by 3 strokes...but lost the bet we made nonetheless. Dang it! Lesson learned. Here's the picture that Bryson said, "Don't put that picture on our blog!" I just couldn't resist! And, for the first time in my life, I tye-dyed a t-shirt haha. The whole 2nd grade did it - my class was blue, if you couldn't tell. I told them, "you are all my little blueberries" becuase they all looked so cute and little in their small blue shirts. This is me, about to head off to school, wearing my ... amazing?...blue tye-dye shirt! Bryson can't help but laugh every morning when I put on my backpack and head off to work. He says I look like a little kid headed off to kindergarten. If only...those were the good old days!! ;-)Well, that's all! I wanted to say THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU to many people. Dad (even though I haven't talked to you in forever, just knowing that you would listen and understand if I did need to talk helps me stay sane!), Kaitlyn for being an amazing, supportive sister, Nam for the long talk and comforting words (and for the prayers :-)), Bryson for being incredibly understanding and helpful (he is an incredible husband!), Granny for calling me today (even though we didn't get to talk, it was so nice to know that you were thinking of me), Tickie for talking to me and listening to me vent my frustrations and worries haha, Jayson for his sweet, sweet songs that he writes, and many, many, many, many more people! I feel so incredibly lucky to have been blessed with the most amazing family! I love you all and truly don't know what I would do without each one of you! I can't WAIT until Nam and Nampa come to Utah for conference (it always is SO great to see them!) and I will be sad to say good bye to Kaitlyn when she leaves for Hawaii. Today, Bryson was talking about when he graduates we will hopefully move to Colorado. Do you understand how wonderful that would be? I would love nothing more than to live in Colorado near my family and near Bryson's family! I LOVE FAMILY!!!

Everyone have an amazing Friday and remember I (and Bryson too) love you!!! And as the Webster's say....."Suuuuuuuurrrrrrre LOVE YA!!" ;-)

I love my husband

I'm just sitting here...waiting for Bryson to come home from his work meeting. And it hit me, like it often does, how much I truly love love LOVE my hubby! He's wonderful! :-)

3 Months Down...Forever To Go

Haha, isn't my title so cliche? Well, as you probably can guess, we have been married for 3 (T-H-R-E-E) months! That's 90 days, or 2,160 hours, or 129,600 minutes...which really isn't a very long time. Bryson, being the sweet, sweet husband that he is, surprised me with a cute card and a little present at 12:00am Sunday morning (the very, very, very beginning of our "anniversary" day. :-) He said, "I was trying so hard to wait until later today, but I can't wait...so here." We went to church and then made an awesome dinner - pork loin in the crockpot with potatoes, broccoli and applesauce. Haha, we really were excited because it felt like a real "Sunday dinner." We were driving home from the "movie in the park" tonight and I looked over at Bryson and said, "I can't believe we are married," - it still feels so weird to me to be married. It's awesome - Bryson and I still do all the same old things we did while we were just dating - hanging out on the couch, going out to eat, watching movies...but at the end of the night, we don't have to say good bye. Being married is the best. :-) So, here's to many, many, many more months to come! Love you Baber!

I've been working on getting my classroom ready and I finally took a few pictures. I feel like the pictures make it look super empty and boring, but you get the idea. :) I have taken 150% of all my ideas from Robyn Kerr, my mentor teacher last year. I'm always thinking, "What would Robyn do?" and looking at the pictures from her classroom and copying it EXACLY, as closely as I can. :-) The books on the bookshelf are 99.9% courtesy of Tickie and Granny - thank you SO SO SOooo much! Most of my posters are from Tickie or from the Dollar Store trip Granny took me on! :) My Dad helped me SO much - putting up the paper on the builitain boards and changing the shelves in the back so I could have 25 mailboxes instead of just shelves. Bryson has done a LOT of cutting and gluing - the whole "Mrs. Webster's Smiley 2nd Graders" was his little project. I have had A LOT of help! Thank you all SO much!! School starts on the 19th, it's coming up soon! Ready or not....:-)
